Thank you for your intrest in the Copy Editor position at Sun and Sea Magazine. We were very glad to receive your application and enjoyed meeting you.

The research editor is responsible for finding or verifying factual information used in creating articles for publication, using a variety of resources. The research editor must document the source of all quoted or paraphrased material that may be protected by copyright and must acquire the copyright holder’s permission to use protected material.

You made an excellent impressions in your interviews. The executive editor and I agreee that you are perfectly qualified for the job and would be a great addition to our staff. Therefore, we are delighted to offer you the position of Copy Editor in our Editorial Department at a salary of $3,000 per month, based on a 40-hour work week.

Note that the Copy Editor job is an “exempt” position, meaning there is no additional pay for overtime hours. You will qualified to participate in our company’s profit-sharing plan, 401k plan, medical saving plan, and other benefit programs.
